New Module of IELTS Practice and Academic English for NCI& HBU HRM Joint Program
This module introduces IELTS and professional English writing through a combination of lectures with practice, aiming to improve students' comprehensive English ability and cultivate their understandings of academic English writing. Writing can reflect the thinking logic of the writer to a certain extent and during the process of writing one can also be able to develop their critical thinking. At the same time, students will be able to enhance their sense of cooperation and responsibilities and sessions, such as teamwork and presentation.
The first semester will run from October to December, and the second from March to May of the next year. This module constitutes of 20 classes, 10 each semester.
This module has been formulated in accordance with the specific objectives and requirements of the teaching plan of the HRM joint programme, which is aiming to help cultivate high caliber personnel. With basic professional knowledge and ability and certain cultural knowledge, this course will expand the horizons of students, develop their expression ability, and improve logical and critical thinking.
